Dear CAI Members, We are now a very large chapter, topping 800 members and continue our focus on expanding our educational, outreach and networking programs.  Major improvements and redesign are underway on our website, and we will continue to be using that as a major component for communications and repository of information. We have a full  PMPD classes schedule in the state and we will be holding our third annual Law Day on Saturday  March 3,  and our other premier event, the annual conference will be early in the fall.  Our expanded volunteer committees continue to be the backbone of both stability and growth and we continue to experience a solid membership retention rate.  In between the major events are numerous educational/networking luncheons and meetings  and the best way to have a presence at each one is to participate in the annual sponsorship program.   Our Annual Sponsors contribution constitute more than 30% of our annual budget and consequently provide the most basic building block for the organization.  If you are new to the organization, or getting more involved we welcome you,  and for our returning supporters, please accept our sincere appreciation. In addition, CAI-NC intends to provide greater funding to the Legislative Action Committee (LAC) to help them meet the ever present and pressing demands  for monitoring, lobbying and participating in the legislative processes that directly effect  the governance, autonomy and effectiveness of homeowner associations across the state.   To that end, for any annual sponsor willing to donate and additional $250  in their annual sponsorship will be recognized with a gold  star  on all promotional material to highlight their support as a LAC partner.
