The (World Famous) Platters
Saturday, February 9th 2013 - 8pm
Since the introduction of the classic "doo-wop" sound of the fifties, there has never been such a widely known group as The Platters. They have had a string of hits starting with Only You in 1955, and many others including The Great Pretender, My Prayer, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, and Harbor Lights. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. The World Famous Platters of today are a licensed group and include two of the original Platters. Back by popular demand; those that attended his show in the summer of 2010, gave him a standing ovation and asked for more. Those that were away for the summer heard about him and want to see the show their friends raved about.

As a singing ventriloquist, Michael can impersonate both old and new entertainers alike from Louis Armstrong to Justin Timberlake to Johnny Cash. He will impress you with the speed at which he and his "special guests" take turns singing a song together, as well as amaze you with his dead on impersonations.
