Committees
Evergreen Meadows has a variety of committee's that function to improve the life of our residents.  The committee's and their functions are listed below.  You can find out more information about the members of each committee in the Contacts section of the website.

Social - The social committee budgets, plans and execute 15-20 activities for our community every year.  These are budgeted for through our assessments, so they are free to all residents.  In the past, our community has enjoyed many different activities including: movies at the pool, a Spring Fling (in April), Pool Opening Celebration, Adult Luau and Pig Roast, Breakfast with Santa, and Dinner at the Pool.  Check out the community calendar for upcoming events.

Pool -  The Pool committee is responsible for evaluating the equipment and management of the pool facility and making recommendations to the Board of Directors on how to improve the use and functionality of the Pool and surrounding facility.

Safety - This committee is charged with evaluating the safety the community as a whole and managing our Community Watch Program - one of the first in the Town of Leesburg.

Landscape - This committee is responsible for monitoring and making suggestions on how to improve the appearance of all common areas in Evergreen Meadows.  They work with our Landscaping contractor to keep us looking great!

Architectural Review Board (ARB) - The ARB is tasked to monitor and approve (or not approve) all resident changes to their property per the Guidelines as adopted by the Board of Directors.  They are also expected to review the Guidelines on a regular basis and provide suggestions for changes to the Board of Directors.  The ARB is not responsible for actually inspecting the homes and common areas of the community.

Construction Committee - The Board of Directors is starting a committee to provide recommendations for a construction project for the community.  There are several ideas that have been submitted, and the goal of the committee is to work through the pros and cons of each idea to narrow it down to the one they feel best serves our community.  We already have several volunteers, but there are still plenty of places if you are interested.  The committee will officially be formed and begin their work in April 2011.  You can join the committee any time.  Please contact any Board member or the committee chairman (TBD at April 2011 Board Meeting) to find the location and time of the next meeting.
