Where to Stay
The forum hotel is the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Special room rates of $159 per night single/double and $197 Regency Club single/double rooms have been established at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for CAI forum attendees. For reservations, contact the hotel at (404) 577-1234 and identify yourself as a CAI forum attendee. A limited number of rooms have been reserved and will be held as a block until exhausted or until October 2, 2005, at which time they will be released to the general public. Please make your reservations as early as possible to ensure you have a room. Reserve a room at the Hyatt online.
All attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the forum hotel-thereby allowing us to meet our contractual requirements, which are necessary to keep meeting costs down. Again, to ensure room reservations, call early. While CAI's room block expires on October 2, it may sell out prior to that date.
The forum hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta; it's one of the nation's premier convention and trade show hotels. With shopping and dining in the adjoining Peachtree Center complex, the Hyatt Regency is a find among downtown Atlanta hotels. The Hyatt Regency is within walking distance of numerous business and cultural destinations including AmericasMart, the Georgia World Congress Center, the Inforum, Centennial Olympic Park, Underground Atlanta and a variety of historic attractions. The hotel is 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with an indoor connection to the Peachtree Center Station of the MARTA public rail system. Transportation
You can reach CAI's preferred travel agency, Passport Executive Travel, at (800) 344-7794, from 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. (ET), Monday-Friday. When making reservations, be sure to identify yourself as a CAI forum attendee.
How to Get Around
To reach the hotel from the airport, you may take a taxi for $25 each way. You may also call Atlanta Link Shuttle Service at (404) 524-3400. One-way advanced purchase is $16 and roundtrip purchase is $28. Finally, you can take the Marta Rail to the Peachtree Center Mall exit (across the street from the Hyatt Regency Atlanta) for $1.75 each ride.
If you wish to drive to the hotel, visit www.mapquest.com and enter the following address for directions: 265 Peachtree Street NE Atlanta, GA 30303
What to Wear
CAI's Community Leadership Forum is a dynamic event, so business casual wear is strongly encouraged. Friday evening's Dinner Dance will be cocktail attire.
What the Weather Will be Like
Atlanta enjoys beautiful weather in October with an average daily high temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit and average daily low temperature of 51 degrees Fahrenheit.
Payment Policy
No registration will be processed without full payment. CAI accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and checks in U.S. dollars made payable to CAI.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds for registration fees are issued if a written cancellation notice is received by September 23, 2005. Written cancellations received between September 24-October 6, 2005 are subject to a 30 percent administrative fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after October 6, 2005. All registrations and tickets purchased on-site are nonrefundable.
Private Party Policy
All hospitality suites and hosted events must be reserved, approved and paid for through CAI. Hospitality suites/hosted events are not permitted during official forum activities. Non-exhibiting suppliers are not permitted to host events at the official hotel during the forum.
CAI Policy
CAI has a no tolerance policy regarding "suitcasing," which describes the practice by non-exhibiting companies or individuals of soliciting sales or sales leads on the tradeshow floor, in the aisles, or in the lobbies, and/or representing their services or soliciting forum participants for conflicting social activities. Non-exhibiting suppliers participating in the forum as attendees or speakers are prohibited from soliciting business on the trade show floor, in or after sessions, or in the forum hotel.
Violators of these policies will be ejected from the show, if exhibiting, and charged the single booth rate ($1350), which must be paid prior to registering as an attendee, exhibitor, or sponsor at any future CAI forums. |
