I am sending this message out again for those who may have missed it.  Since the last email that I sent out regarding this issue, several homeowners have contacted me stating that they inspected their exhaust venting on their gas water heaters and found the same problem.   If you missed it before, the following message was sent out last week.

It has come to my attention that the exhaust venting of the gas water heaters here at the Parke may not be secure, leading to carbon monoxide leaking into the area where the heater is located.  It is not a problem on every home, but you should check your pipe to make sure that all of the fittings are secured.
